Three Yachts are specifically designated for the invited press. The sponsored yachts are welcome to invite the press to sail with them for extra-added coverage on their product line.
"The Chardonnay Regatta", received close to
one million dollars in press coverage for the sponsors. We anticipate
much more coverage from the World Vin Cup
2009.

Press invitations, press conferences and press releases begin in June 2007 and continue
up to, during and after the event into 2009. In previous years, the Chardonnay Regatta brought in close to US $1 million in press coverage. The new
World Vin Cup 2009 is forecasting hitting the US $2 million mark
before its' conclusion.
Noted sailing photographer. Bob Griser, Los Angeles Times is invited back to participate in shooting the race from the Sailors perspective. He has covered the
Americas Cup as well as other racing regattas around the world.
Rick Bolen, Sonoma, California food and wine photographer is also invited back and will shoot the wine and food angle of the event.
Soleil International covers photographers' travel and regatta costs. You are welcome to work with these two photographers for any special photo shoots for future advertisement or publicity shots as it does not interfere with their racing photography. Any contracts should be directed between your marketing department and the photographer.
